Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Delaware, OH is hiring a Welding Robot Operator to operate, set up and maintain automated robotic welding systems for high-quality metal components. This on-site role requires following production orders and ensuring safety and efficiency.

The position offers weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 6:00am-6:00pm), a starting pay of $30 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, and bi-weekly pay. Training begins on first shift for 2–4 weeks, with 6:00am-4:30pm days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in robot operation, with robotic welding preferred.
• ASME welding certification a plus.
• Ability to read WPS and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow production orders, prepare parts and assemble components by teaching the robot and executing robotic welding.
• Execute welds per company procedures and documents, meeting quality standards.
• Maintain equipment with preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Inspect finished welds for conformance to specifications.
• Document welding processes and any variations.
• Propose new methods or equipment to improve efficiency or quality.
