Job summary

Base pay starts at $19–$26 per hour with additional shift premiums, and a $1000 signing bonus is offered. On-the-job training and advancement opportunities are provided. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, welding experience, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Welding certificate or degree preferred.
• 2+ years welding experience.
• FANUC robotic certification desired.
• Internal welding test completed.
• Knowledge of welding equipment and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Good communication and dependability.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines or robotic welders to fabricate parts per specs.
• Set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, gas type, and weld rod.
• Inspect and measure finished parts for conformance to specs.
• Weld components in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Report defects or issues to supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
