Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Welding certificate/degree preferred; internal test may be required.
• FANUC robotics certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines or robots to fabricate parts per specs.
• Set controls for wire feed, amperage, polarity, gas type, and weld rod.
• Inspect welded pieces to verify conformance to specs.
• Read blueprints and traveler notes to determine welding requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow procedures.
