Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• FANUC Robotic Certification desired
• Welding certificate/degree preferred
• At least 2 years welding experience or equivalent
• Successful completion of internal welding test
• Knowledge of welding equipment and tools
• Knowledge of basic math
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors
• Must be dependable

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines or robots and fabricate metal parts per specs
• Set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, gas, and weld rod
• Inspect workmanship and verify conformance to specs
• Move and adjust machines and fixtures as needed
• Clamp or tack-weld components and remove excess welds
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report issues
