Robotic Weld Technician | Robot Programmer | Automation Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Robotic Weld Technician, Robot Programmer, or Automation Technician.

Shift Times:

• 1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM (8-hour days) and 6:00AM to 4:30PM (10-hour days). Must be open to working until 4:30 when needed. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
• 2nd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 2:30PM – 4:30PM to 10:30PM – 2:30AM. Varies between 8 and 10-hour shifts. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
• 3rd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 9:30PM-11:30PM to 5:30AM-7:30AM. Varies between 8 and 10-hour shifts. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and implement robot programs for automation systems, including industrial robots, cobots, and AGVs.
• Collaborate with engineering to analyze requirements and develop programming solutions.
• Configure and customize robot software to meet project specifications.
• Integrate robotic systems with other equipment and control systems.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot robotic systems for optimal performance.
• Optimize robot trajectories and motion profiles for efficiency and precision.
• Maintain documentation such as technical specs and user manuals.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-implementation.
• Stay updated with robotics advancements to enhance capabilities.
• Strong programming skills in RAPID, KRL, Fanuc TP, etc.
• Experience with various robot brands (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Motoman).
• Solid understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.
• Knowledge of automation tech like vision systems, sensors, PLCs.
• Experience with offline programming software (e.g., RoboDK, RobotStudio).
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Robot Brands: ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Panasonic, OTC, Motoman, and others.

Applications: Welding, Pick & Place, Material Handling, Painting, Resistance Welding, Sealing, etc.

Robot Axes: 3 to 8 axes.

Compensation Range:

• Hourly: $38.00 to $50.00
• Time and a Half after 40 hours, Double Time on Sundays.
