Job Description: Robotic Weld Technician | Robot Programmer | Automation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Robotic Weld Technician, Robot Programmer, or Automation Technician.

Shift Times:

• 1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM (8-hour days) and 6:00AM to 4:30PM (10-hour days). Must be open to working until 4:30 when needed. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
• 2nd Shift (Flexible Start): 2:30PM – 4:30PM to 10:30PM – 2:30AM. Varies between 8 and 10 hours. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)
• 3rd Shift (Flexible Start): 9:30PM-11:30PM to 5:30AM-7:30AM. Varies between 8 and 10 hours. (Monday – Friday & ½ day on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and implement robot programs for automation systems, including industrial robots, cobots, and AGVs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze requirements and develop programming solutions.
• Configure and customize robot software to meet specifications, ensuring performance and standards.
• Integrate robotic systems with other equipment and control systems for seamless workflows.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot robotic systems to resolve issues and ensure reliable operation.
• Optimize robot trajectories and motion profiles for efficiency and precision.
• Maintain documentation such as technical specs, programming guidelines, and manuals.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-implementation.
• Stay updated on robotics advancements to improve techniques and company capabilities.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in robot-specific languages like RAPID, KRL, or Fanuc's TP.
• Experience with programming and integrating various robot brands (ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Motoman).
• Solid understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control.
• Familiarity with automation tech such as vision systems, sensors, and PLCs.
• Experience with offline programming and simulation tools like RoboDK or RobotStudio is preferred.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and robot-to-PLC integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Applications: Welding, pick and place, material handling, painting, resistance welding, sealing, etc.

Robot Axes: 3 to 8 axes.

Compensation Range:

• Hourly: $38.00 to $50.00
• Time and a Half after 40 hours
• Double Time on Sundays
