Job summary

Mobile Track Solutions, L.L.C. seeks a Robotic Weld Programmer to write, test, and refine robot paths and welding sequences for standard parts. You will monitor weld quality and adjust parameters, while assisting with routine equipment maintenance to uphold MTS quality standards.

You will support online programming with basic pendant operations, troubleshoot faults, mentor weld operators, and help with data backups and fixture maintenance as needed to keep cells productive.

Qualifications

A 2-yr or associates degree or technical school certification in related field is preferred.
Proficiency with robotic software (Roboplan, Roboguide) or similar.
Proficiency with program text editing and basic pendant operations.
Experience with robotic troubleshooting and PLC skills is required.

Responsibilities

Assist with online programming using basic pendant operations.
Identify and adjust weld points to correct weld alignment or quality issues.
Monitor travel and ensure commands are performed correctly.
Understand programming language, seam sense, and touch sensing commands.
Mentor and train robotic weld operators; clear fault codes and troubleshoot recurrent errors.
