Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Weld Robot Operator to develop programs, train the robot, troubleshoot welding issues and maintain robot uptime. The role includes some manual fabrication, grinding, finishing and quality verification.

Candidates should have 2+ years welding/fabrication and at least 1 year with a robotic welder; OTC Robotic Welder experience preferred. The job offers an air-conditioned facility, weekday schedule, competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience.
• Minimum 1+ year working on a robotic welder.
• Preferably experience with OTC Robotic Welders.
• Ability to read CAD prints and product schematics.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Experience programming, fine tuning, and managing robotic welders.
• Responsible for Robot Welder Up Time, track daily production build counts and flow.
• Weld a variety of steel structures per CAD print requirements.
• Build complete assemblies from start to finish including grinding and finishing.
• Read and understand product schematics and verify dimensions.
• Use a variety of manufacturing tools per job specifications.
• Ensure quality control standards are met on every build.
• Adhere to all safety standards.
