Job summary

Maven Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Systems Testing Engineer to define and execute robust test plans for lab and field reliability. You will balance simulation and real‑robot tests, work with the Simulation team to enable sim capabilities, and build utilities to report results to design teams.

The role requires C++/Python, ROS2, Linux, and hands‑on experience with robotics simulations (Gazebo, IsaacSim) in safety‑critical environments.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in robotics, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience operating robotic systems in safety‑critical environments.
• Proficient in C++ and Python; familiarity with ROS2 and Linux development/debugging.
• Working knowledge of CANOpen, EtherCAT or UART networking.
• Familiarity with Gazebo and IsaacSim simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy across full system and unit levels.
• Distribute test cases between simulation and real robot environments.
• Collaborate with Simulation team to enable required sim capabilities.
• Develop testing and reporting utilities.
• Execute tests in simulation and on robot; report results to design teams.
• Define and manage the SW version approval pipeline for field deployments.
