Applied Intuition, Inc. is hiring a Robotic Software Engineer to design and integrate autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems across hardware and software platforms.

You will deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL and live test environments, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for robust hardware-software integration and demonstrations. Qualifications

• BS or MS in Robotics, CS or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with robotic systems (hardware, software, integration).
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience integrating autonomy/robotics with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot/PX4).
• Experience with communication busses/protocols: UART/RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI/QSPI, I2C, Ethernet.
• Experience Docker and Linux-based OS (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Experience using Git, VS Code, GitLab.
• Familiarity with SIL/HIL, safety-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems across hardware and software.
• Deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL and live test environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for hardware-software integration and demonstrations.
• Integrate autonomy software with aircraft autopilots, datalinks, sensors, GPS/INS, GCS, etc.
• Support live flight tests of autonomy software on UAVs (Group 1-5).
• Collaborate with 3rd party UAS vendors to integrate software onto OEM hardware.
• Perform system-level setup, testing and validation (SIL/HIL).
• Develop service-oriented-architecture software and inter-process messaging for UAS.
