Manager to operate and monitor automated robotic painting systems for automotive interior parts, ensuring strict color, gloss, and adhesion requirements are met. You will lead robot teaching, path programming, and process optimization on a manufacturing line.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting paint defects and maintaining optimal process parameters to deliver consistent finishes and maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated robotic painting operations, including robot teaching and path programming.
• Strong knowledge of paint application processes and automotive interior appearance requirements (color, gloss, texture).
• Ability to troubleshoot defects and adjust process parameters independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated painting robots and related application systems.
• Perform and optimize robot teaching and path programming.
• Monitor critical paint process parameters such as viscosity, temperature, humidity, airflow, booth pressure, flash times, and oven curing conditions.
• Identify and resolve paint defects including runs, sags, orange peel, dry spray, dirt/contamination, pinholes, and color/gloss variation.
• Ensure proper preparation, masking, and handling of interior parts before and after painting to prevent damage or contamination.
