Job summary

Cesna Recruitment is seeking a Paint Specialist / Supervisor / Asst. Manager to operate and monitor automated robotic painting systems for automotive interior parts, ensuring appearance, color, gloss, and adhesion meet strict customer requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with robotic painting operations, robot teaching and path programming (Yaskawa and 3D offline teaching preferred), plus strong understanding of paint application processes and defect troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with automated robotic painting operations.
Experience with robot teaching and path programming.
Strong understanding of automotive paint processes and appearance specifications (color, gloss, texture).
Ability to troubleshoot painting defects and adjust process parameters.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated painting robots and related application systems (spray guns, pumps, nozzles).
Perform and optimize robot teaching, including 3D offline teaching and path programming, to ensure consistent paint coverage and film thickness.
Monitor critical paint process parameters such as viscosity, temperature, humidity, airflow, booth pressure, flash times, and oven curing conditions.
Identify and resolve paint defects including runs, sags, orange peel, dry spray, dirt/contamination, pinholes, and color/gloss variation.
Ensure proper preparation, masking, and handling of interior parts before and after painting to prevent damage or contamination.
