Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education with welding/robotics experience.
• Strong MIG/MAG welding knowledge for heavy fabrication.
• Experience with robotic platforms (Fanuc/ABB/Yaskawa) preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings, WPS, and welding procedure documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and optimize robotic MIG/MAG welding for heavy fabrication.
• Troubleshoot programming, weld controls, fixturing, and process variation.
• Maintain welding systems, ensure WPS compliance and quality standards.
• Support weld technicians with training and prioritization.
• Coordinate maintenance, PMs, spare parts, and uptime goals.
• Assist with new product launches, tooling changes, and process documentation.
• Collect downtime and defect data; drive improvements and capital projects.
• Support audits with welding process information and documentation.
