Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries, including robotic Mako and manual procedures. You will assist with pre-operative planning, case preparation, system setup, and real-time workflows in the operating room.

This role requires adaptability, on-call availability evenings and weekends, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced OR. Travel about 30% to customer sites is expected; you will build clinical and technical expertise

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Associate degree with 4 years of related experience is acceptable.
High school diploma with 6 years of related experience is acceptable.
Preferred: 1 year of relevant clinical work experience.

Responsibilities

Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures.
Assist surgeons with pre-operative planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
Support full case preparation, instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room confidently.
Assist with inventory management and logistics for daily accounts.
Shadow experienced teammates to learn territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and customer trainings.
Maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
