Job summary

Stryker Corporation in the United States is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic procedures both robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual. You will work in field-based settings, assist with pre-operative planning, OR setup, real-time workflow, and in-lab training while partnering with surgeons and cross-functional teams.

This role requires adaptability, composure under pressure, and a commitment to on-call coverage evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is the primary requirement; other paths accepted with related experience.
• Clinical experience or related field experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English and ability to work in fast-paced OR environments.

Responsibilities

• Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning and implant sizing.
• Support full case preparation including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Support workflow for account coordination, inventory, and logistics.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, and training events.
• Build trust-based relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and partners.
• Manage accounts, system updates, and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure seamless execution and customer experience.
• Complete trainings and required competencies.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Associate degree with 4 years of professional and/or related experience

High school diploma with 6 years of professional and/or related experience
