Job summary

Emerge in Walworth, NY seeks a hands-on Robotic Maintenance Technician to own the preventive-maintenance program for automated robots and related equipment. You’ll ensure maximum uptime and product quality at the Walworth facility on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, programming tune-ups, electrical/mechanical repairs, and meticulous documentation. A tool set is required and the role offers state-of-the-art robotic systems training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of mechanical experience; robotics training provided.
• Strong knowledge of controllers, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Ability to read manuals and diagnose problems from schematics.
• Must own a personal tool set.
• Flexible schedule; 4–10 hour days, Mon–Thu.

Responsibilities

• Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain all automated robots, conveyors, and peripheral equipment.
• Perform scheduled lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and component replacements.
• Tune robot programs, align components, and program end-of-arm tooling or conveyors.
• Wire controllers, assemble parts with hand/power tools, and perform hydraulic/pneumatic repairs.
• Keep accurate service records and track inventory of sensors and cables.
• Respond to call-backs for equipment breakdowns; work flexible hours as needed.
• Communicate machine variations and issues with supervisors and maintenance staff.
