Sharon Tube Company seeks a Line Operator to set up and run high-speed equipment with robotic elements for forming or cutting steel to exact dimensions. You will ensure safety, calibrate machinery, inspect materials, and report issues to the quality team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and adherence to production schedules. The position requires English literacy, basic math, and the ability to operate forklifts and cranes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English; maintain production records/logs.
• Manufacturing or related industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to perform math, additions/subtractions/decimals/fractions.
• Experience with measuring devices such as tape measure, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to operate forklift, crane and other equipment necessary for completion of job.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Regular, full-time, onsite attendance per posted schedule is essential.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety and LOTO rules to operate equipment efficiently.
• Advanced setup and calibration of equipment.
• Inspect materials for quality before, during, and after running.
• Record and report deficiencies to supervisor/quality department.
• Maintain equipment tooling and tools for job completion.
• Diagnose equipment/quality problems to minimize scrap and delays.
• Perform housekeeping to keep areas clean and safe.
• Complete production changeover and scrap reports; assist maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
