The role blends 50–75% surgical oncology with 25–50% complex benign general surgery, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques, robotics, and advanced endoscopy in a collaborative team.

The position is based at SARMC, a Level II Trauma Center with a robust digital environment. Expect a traditional M-F schedule with at least 32 hours of patient contact, clinic, procedures, and

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board eligible/certified in General Surgery.
• Completed ACGME/AOA residency in General Surgery with fellowship in Surgical Oncology or Hepato-Biliary.
• Experience with open, MIS, and robotic techniques for hepatobiliary and colorectal cancers.

Responsibilities

• Split time between surgical oncology (50–75%) and complex benign general surgery (25–50%).
• Emphasize minimally invasive, robotic, and advanced endoscopic procedures.
• Clinic, procedures, and consults with 1:6 call and no unattached ER call.
