Job summary

Kforce has a client in Austin, TX seeking a Robotic Controls Technician. The Technician will support commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC-controlled automation systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include commissioning I/O and safety devices, troubleshooting PLC/HMI systems, supporting conveyors, robotics, and network basics; reading schematics; and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams while following strict electrical safety

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in automation, controls, or a manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical troubleshooting background (low-to-high voltage systems).
Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI systems (Siemens preferred).

Responsibilities

Commission I/O systems, safety devices, and automation equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, and electrical systems (24VDC-480VAC).
Support automated systems including conveyors, robotics, and mobile automation equipment.
