Job summary

Smith+Naphew is seeking a Robotics Clinical Specialist based in Raleigh to act as the operating room expert for CORI robotic joint solutions. You will provide hands-on case coverage, drive adoption, and collaborate with Joint Reconstruction and Capital Sales teams to win in competitive markets.

The role requires 2+ years in medical device sales or OR-based commercial roles, plus experience in orthopaedics or robotics.

• Represent Smith+Naphew at labs, in services, and medical education events.

As a field based Robotics Clinical Specialist, you will work at the intersection of advanced joint reconstruction technology and sales execution, partnering closely with surgeons and sales leaders to win in highly competitive markets.

What will you be doing?

• Serving as the operating room expert for CORI robotic assisted knee and hip solutions, providing hands on case coverage for new and existing customers
• Driving adoption, utilization, and growth of CORI technology in partnership with Joint Reconstruction and Capital Sales teams
• Supporting product launches, competitive conversions, and strategic growth initiatives within your territory
• Training surgeons and hospital staff to achieve confidence and technical proficiency in live surgical environments
• Identifying commercial opportunities, generating leads, and contributing directly to territory revenue performance
• Representing Smith+Naphew at labs, in services, and medical education events

What will you need to be successful?

• 2 or more years of experience in medical device sales or operating room based commercial roles
• Experience in orthopaedics, joint reconstruction, robotics, or capital equipment strongly preferred
• A competitive, results driven mindset with the ability to influence in high pressure operating room environments
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with surgeons and key stakeholders
• Post secondary degree or equivalent commercial or clinical experience
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including regular overnight travel

All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities they support, which can include adherence to any established vaccine protocols.
