Smith+Nebhew is seeking a Robotics Clinical Specialist in Houston, TX to serve as the operating room expert for CORI robotic knee and hip solutions and to directly influence surgeon adoption and commercial growth. This field-based role partners with surgeons and sales leaders to win in competitive markets.

The successful candidate will train surgeons, support launches, and identify opportunities to grow territory revenue while traveling regularly within the assigned region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical device sales or operating room–based commercial roles.
• Experience in orthopaedics, joint reconstruction, robotics, or capital equipment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the OR expert for CORI robotic assisted knee and hip solutions, providing hands-on case coverage for new and existing customers.
• Driving adoption, utilization, and growth of CORI technology in partnership with Joint Reconstruction and Capital Sales teams.
• Supporting product launches, competitive conversions, and strategic growth initiatives within the territory.
• Training surgeons and hospital staff to achieve confidence and technical proficiency in live surgical environments.
• Identifying commercial opportunities, generating leads, and contributing directly to territory revenue performance.
• Representing Smith+Nebhew at labs, in services, and medical education events.

As a field based Robotics Clinical Specialist, you will work at the intersection of advanced joint reconstruction technology and sales execution, partnering closely with surgeons and sales leaders to win in highly competitive markets.

What will you be doing?

• Serving as the operating room expert for CORI robotic assisted knee and hip solutions, providing hands on case coverage for new and existing customers

What will you need to be successful?

• 2 or more years of experience in medical device sales or operating room based commercial roles
• Experience in orthopaedics, joint reconstruction, robotics, or capital equipment strongly preferred
• A competitive, results driven mindset with the ability to influence in high pressure operating room environments
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with surgeons and key stakeholders
• Post secondary degree or equivalent commercial or clinical experience
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including regular overnight travel
