Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Cardiovascular Program Specialist (CVPS) to deliver expert clinical support, education, and training on da Vinci cardiac surgery technologies. This role partners with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager to ensure safe adoption and positive patient outcomes, within a national team focused on developing cardiac surgeons and related staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role (cardiac surgery preferred, or electrophysiology, interventional cardiology)
• Experience as a physician assistant or surgical nurse, combined with medical device industry experience, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site case support in the operating room or hybrid OR for robotic cardiac surgery procedures.
• Serve as a clinical expert for product setup, troubleshooting, and optimal use during live cases.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols.
• Expand the user base by training surgeons in collaboration with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager.
• Exhibit proficiency across multiple technology platforms to support da Vinci adoption (Multiport, Single Port, digital solutions).
• Promote advanced instruments and accessories to enhance surgical performance and surgeon autonomy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to expand da Vinci usage and strengthen hospital partnerships.
