Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking a Spray Booth Operator to run a computerized robotic spray system that applies bedliner material to customer vehicles. You will verify setup, program spray parameters, monitor performance, and ensure safety/quality standards are met.

Minimal manual spraying is required and training is provided. The role emphasizes computer/equipment operation, with focus on efficiency and adherence to work instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Robotic or paint process experience a plus, training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanically inclined with attention to detail.
• Perform work safely per company policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Maintain a valid US Driver’s License.
• Medical evaluation including Respiratory Protection requirements may be required.
• Basic computer skills preferred but training available.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic spray system applying bedliner material.
• Prepare truck masking, verify bar code, and correct truck positioning per instructions.
• Program robotic spray parameters and monitor spray pattern for quality.
• Verify safety and quality requirements; perform minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Follow startup procedures and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Other duties as assigned.
