Job summary

Stow US is seeking a Beamline Welding Machine Operator to set up, program, run and maintain automated welding robots, loading beams and reading blueprints to ensure high-quality components. You will monitor weld quality with gauges, perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot errors, and document production logs, while following safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
• Experience: Reading blueprints/technical drawings; mechanical aptitude; measuring tools knowledge.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solving, teamwork, physical stamina (lifting, standing).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, welding symbols.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of automated systems.
• Basic manual welding skills (MIG/TIG) preferred, certificates a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, run and maintain automated welding robots.
• Load/unload beams and position workpieces with jigs/fixtures.
• Input and adjust parameters for robot controller based on specs.
• Quality checks using gauges, calipers, and cameras; remove spatter.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot errors or malfunctions during production.
• Complete production logs and quality records.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
