HighRes is seeking a Robotic Automation Engineer II to join our Automation Engineering team at our Beverly, MA headquarters. You will independently own complex system deployments, integrate robots and lab instruments, and ensure successful customer outcomes across life sciences projects.

You will work on multi-system deployments, extend CellarioScheduler workflows in C#, and partner with Applications to design end-to-end workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree and 3+ years; or Associate’s degree and 6+ years
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, or supporting laboratory automation or industrial robotics systems in a customer-facing setting
• Experience with laboratory automation scheduling software such as CellarioScheduler, Green Button Go (Biosero), Momentum (Thermo Fisher), Overlord (PAA), or equivalent
• Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex technical deployments with minimal supervision
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting robotic systems at both the hardware and software level
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and network layers
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences
• Ability to travel up to and sometimes exceeding 40% annually to customer locations domestically and internationally
• Current driver's license and valid passport
• Reliable personal transportation for regional travel
• Comfortable working in laboratory and technical environments
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership of commissioning complex systems and integrate robots and instruments
• Modify and troubleshoot CellarioScheduler workflows and extend system behavior in C#
• Partner with Applications team on end-to-end workflow design and deployment
• Own the acceptance path ensuring hardware, software and integration meet criteria
• Support multi-system deployments with coordinated workflows
• Execute FAT/SAT for complex systems with minimal external assistance
• Configure and troubleshoot automation hardware and devices via firmware and diagnostics
• Write and maintain automation software and SQL-backed scheduling databases
• Configure and operate robotic platforms such as SCARA and articulated arms
• Participate in design reviews and document deployments and issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation for deployed systems
