Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills (addition, subtraction, decimal, and fraction conversions).
• Able to accurately read a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.
• The ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, work orders, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Mount fixtures, load parts, close clamps, and start a basic robotic welding cycle.
• Interpret weld symbols and place precise welds; repair weld defects if needed.
• Weld in flat and horizontal positions using GMAW on carbon and stainless steel.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Perform basic weld machine maintenance such as replacing consumables.
