Job summary

TSMG Holding is seeking Depot Specialists to support daily operations of autonomous vehicle and robotaxi fleets across North America. You will ensure vehicles are clean, charged, inspected, and ready for deployment from a dedicated robotaxi depot.

Based at the depot, you will manage vehicle preparation, fleet readiness, inventory, and day-to-day depot operations with comprehensive training provided. This hands-on role suits organized individuals in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare autonomous vehicles for daily robotaxi fleet operations.
• Ensure every vehicle is cleaned, inspected, charged, and deployment-ready before the start of each shift.
• Verify the cleanliness and condition of cameras, LiDAR, radar, mirrors, sensors, windows, and vehicle interiors to support self-driving systems.
• Perform pre-deployment and post-shift inspections.
• Monitor battery levels and charging schedules for EVs.
• Support daily robotaxi depot operations by coordinating vehicle movement, parking, charging, and staging.
• Assist with vehicle dispatch and return processes.
• Organize parking areas to maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain depot cleanliness and ensure safety standards.
• Coordinate vehicle availability with Safety Operators, Technicians, and Operations Leads.
• Perform basic vehicle functionality checks before deployment.
• Verify tire condition, lighting, fluid levels, charging equipment, and general vehicle condition.
• Identify cosmetic damage or issues requiring inspection.
• Escalate maintenance concerns to Senior Technicians or SDS Specialists.
• Support vehicle recovery and transportation activities when required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, charging accessories, PPE, and equipment.
• Track inventory usage and report replenishment needs.
• Receive deliveries and organize depot storage areas.
• Assist with logistics supporting fleet expansion and new depot launches.
• Complete digital inspection checklists and fleet readiness reports.
• Record vehicle status, charging information, and observations.
• Follow depot safety procedures and standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase fleet availability and reduce downtime.
