Job summary

United Concrete Products in Wallingford CT is seeking a versatile, high-energy person to operate our Robot Welding Machine for steel catch basins. Training will be provided. The ideal candidate should have good hand-eye coordination, knowledge of basic shop operations, and be able to lift 58 pounds.

Qualifications

2-3 years of welding experience.
Knowledge of basic shop operations.
Steel toe footwear is required.
Ability to lift 58 pounds.

Responsibilities

Run Robot welding machine to fabricate steel catch basins.
Assemble the 20-22 steel pieces in a jig, frame and grate.
Utilize electric hoist to move finished parts and racks.
MIG weld pieces by hand as needed.
Keep area clean and replenish materials as required.
