Job summary

You will work under limited supervision, ensure safety and ISO compliance, run robot welds, perform finishing and grinding, and help maintain a clean shop.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of general welding experience.
• One year of robotic welding experience or related certification.
• Formal apprenticeship training desirable but not required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and interpret welding specifications per code requirements.
• Set up weldments using fixtures, jigs and welding techniques.
• Perform welding and related tasks including surface prep and cutting.
• Operate robot welding equipment and perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload finished parts and complete finish welding; grind and clean splatter.
• Maintain work area, equipment and PPE; ensure ISO/Quality standards.
• Assist in training less skilled employees when needed.
