Job summary

Weave Robotics is seeking a night-shift operator to run our household-robot data-collection platform. You will teleoperate Weave’s robots to gather high-quality task data including folding laundry, picking up objects, and environmental interaction.

You will monitor equipment for safety and data quality, collaborating with the Weave team to refine workflows and ensure consistent results. Some deployments site visits may be required.

Job description

Responsibilities

In this role, you will operate Weave’s robots during the night shift to support data collection for autonomy in household tasks such as laundry folding, object pickup, and environmental interaction. You’ll use teleoperation equipment to collect high-volume, high-quality robot task data, monitor the equipment for continuously safe operation, and work with members of the Weave team to refine and improve our data collection process.

Requirements

You’ll need to be able to operate Weave’s equipment for extended periods during a night-shift schedule, with breaks, to control our robots as they perform tasks like folding laundry, picking up objects, and interacting with their environment.

Successful candidates will bring good judgment, reliability, and strong attention to detail to ensure the data we collect is consistent, safe, and high quality. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic data collection environment where tasks, workflows, and setups may vary subtly or meaningfully from day to day. As needed, the role may also require visiting deployment sites to assist with robot workflows.

This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a night-shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The expected compensation for this role is $25 per hour, with opportunities for breaks. You will start as a full-time employee of the company, with continued growth opportunities based on performance and business needs.
