Job description

Overview

In this role you will operate Weave's robots for data collection to help with autonomy for household tasks like laundry folding. You’ll collect data with teleoperation equipment, work directly with other members of the Weave team to refine our data collection process, and monitor our equipment for continuously safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Weave's robots for data collection to support autonomy for household tasks (e.g., laundry folding).
• Collect data with teleoperation equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Weave’s equipment for 4+ hours a day (with breaks) to control the robot performing tasks such as folding laundry, picking up objects, and interacting with its environment.
• Good judgment and attention to detail to ensure data is high-volume and high-quality.
• Comfort in dynamic data collection environments where tasks and setups vary day to day.
• May require visiting deployment sites to assist in robot workflows as needed.

Compensation & Employment

The expected compensation for this role is $25 per hour with opportunities for breaks. The role starts as a part-time employee with potential to graduate into a full-time role after a trial period.
