Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Tulsa, OK seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to manufacture parts and assemblies to exacting quality standards. You will work from engineering prints and instructions to operate CNC and conventional machines.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing, familiarity with M and G codes, and ability to pass a skills demonstration; willingness to work second shift and adapt tooling as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic machining, CNC, and conventional machining, including M codes and G codes.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Background in aerospace or aviation preferred.
• Must be able to work any shift, including the second shift.
• Candidate must successfully pass a skills demonstration.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts and assemblies to quality requirements using engineering docs.
• Fabricate assemblies using CNC and verify quality.
• Set feeds, speeds and alignment using shop math and precision tools.
• Create and machine proof new and revised part programs.
• Adjust tool setups and machine operations for safety.
• Orient cutters and fixtures for tooling.
• Inspect parts with height gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Verify work against instructions and specs.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure tool certification per procedure.
• Assist in training assembly personnel.
• Drill, countersink, seal and install fasteners.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Work with engineering requirements, work orders, prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic information to manufacture parts and assemblies to quality requirements.
• Fabricate assemblies using CNC while ensuring product and process quality at all levels through monitoring and verification methodologies.
• Determine and adjust machine feeds, speeds, and work alignment using shop mathematics, charts, graphs, and precision measuring instruments.
• Create and machine proof new and revised part programs.
• Adjust tool set‑ups and make minor machine adjustments to ensure safe operation.
• Adapt tooling and holding fixtures as necessary to orient machine tool cutters and machining fixtures.
• Check parts for correct dimensions using height gauges, gauge blocks, micrometers, calipers, protractors, and other precision tools.
• Verify that the work performed follows work instructions and meets process and engineering specifications.
• Identify discrepancies per applicable procedures and ensure equipment and tool certification per procedure.
• Assist in training other assembly personnel in assembly and installation techniques.
• Drill, countersink, seal, and install fasteners using manual or CNC machines.
