Madix, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to support the assembly floor through hands-on machine shop and mold press operations.

The role requires attention to safety, quality, and efficient workflow within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of factory-related experience, be comfortable with various machining tasks, and demonstrate the ability to work with supervision on setup and process improvements.

Responsabilités

• Operates typical machine shop and mold press tasks to support assembly.
• Detects and reports defective materials or conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance per PM charts.
• Performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, molding and related bench work and inspections.
• Familiarity with basic machine functions; accepts supervision on setup.

Essential Functions

• Performs typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
• Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspections.
• Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
• Experience as a Machine Operator.
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness and quality system awareness.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing plant environment with extreme fluctuation in temperature.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
