Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Robot Operator in Albert Lea, MN to ensure smooth operation of robotic palletizers and inventory scanning. Responsibilities include configuring robots, setting pallet patterns, inspecting pallets, and maintaining sanitation while following food safety policies.

Prior experience in manufacturing and forklift certification are preferred. The role offers onsite work with 8–12 hour shifts, opportunities for rate increases, and a strong training culture.

Robot Operator

Position Summary:

To ensure proper operation of multiple robots and multiple palletizers, scan production into inventory and maintain accurate tally sheets for inventory control and reconciliation. Provide break relief for forklift operators.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Sets up and assembles multiple palletizers for multiple production runs from various lines

Sets up and configures multiple robots for multiple production runs from various lines

Sets the number and pattern for each pallet and each order

Quality inspection of each individual pallet before transfer to shipping

Maintains operational sanitation

Maintains documentation of production output. Operates RF Smart and JDE

Demonstrate good transactional discipline and accurate scanning of production/cases produced

Communicates and shifts handoff to oncoming operator

Responsible for following all food safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventive controls

Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience

1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge and Skills:

Requires good judgment and ability to work at a fast pace

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Capable of being forklift licensed/certified

• Hourly starting rate of $$25.65 with opportunities for hourly rate increases and career progression. Positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts are eligible for a $0.25/hr shift differential.

Typical shifts are 8-12 hours per day. Additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends may also be required. Employees must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by Company policy and/or legal requirements. In addition, certain jobs may require employees to:
