Ventura Foods in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a Line Operator to keep the production line running smoothly and ensure quality product within the scheduled plan.
You will perform equipment setup and changeovers, verify correct weight, packaging codes, and maintain legible paperwork, while following all Food Safety policies and FSMA requirements.
This onsite role offers an hourly starting rate of 25.65 with opportunities for rate increases and career progression on First shift.

To ensure line is running efficiently and producing quality product while meeting scheduled production levels.
Ensure product being produced meets all Ventura Foods quality standards. Must ensure proper consistency, color, and flavor standards are met.
Produce the quantities required of each product per production schedule.
Ensure weight checks are performed at appropriate frequency.
Verify appropriate packaging supplies are being used.
Verify correct code date is being applied legibly to individual containers and cases.
Maintain accurate and legible paperwork.
Responsible for equipment setup and changeovers.
Direct and guide line personnel as necessary to ensure line efficiency.
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls and safety programs.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Individual must be able to physically perform tasks required of position. Must satisfactorily pass Company provided Basic Refrigeration Class.
