Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Robot Manufacturing Technician specializing in CNC robotics and 7-axis milling using robotic arms. The primary focus of this role is rapid prototyping and fine art fabrication, utilizing Kuka Titan robotic systems to deliver precision, creativity, and efficiency. Proficiency in PowerMill, RoboDK, and Rhino for 5-axis and 7-axis milling and a strong background in 3D modeling are essential.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Robot Manufacturing Technician specializing in CNC robotics and 7-axis milling using robotic arms. The primary focus of this role is rapid prototyping and fine art fabrication, utilizing Kuka Titan robotic systems to deliver precision, creativity, and efficiency. Proficiency in PowerMill, RoboDK, and Rhino for 5-axis and 7-axis milling and a strong background in 3D modeling are essential.

This role covers the full lifecycle of robotic milling, from setup to production, emphasizing innovative and artistic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming and Operation: Develop and optimize CNC programs using PowerMill, RoboDK, and Rhino for advanced robotic milling.
• Operate and refine Kuka Titan robotic arms for **7-axis milling, focusing on rapid prototyping and fine art fabrication.
• Setup and Calibration: Perform complete system setup, including tooling, calibration, and workpiece alignment tailored for creative and prototyping needs.
• Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished prototypes and art pieces to meet high-quality standards. Fine-tune programs and machining processes for unique project requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, and engineers to develop milling solutions. Use **3D modeling expertise** to realize creative visions.
  
  

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in robotic milling with Kuka Titan robotic systems.
• Proficiency in PowerMill, RoboDK, and Rhino for 5-axis and 7-axis milling.
