Job summary

Persimmon Technologies in Bedford, MA seeks a hands-on assembler to build and test vacuum environment robots used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will perform assembly, cleaning, and testing under close supervision using established work instructions.

Summary: Performs basic assembly, cleaning, and testing tasks under close supervision using established work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Direct Reports: This position does not have any direct reports.

Skills Required:

• Assemble components and subassemblies according to work instructions
• Use hand tools, torque drivers, and basic measuring instruments.
• Ability to read simple drawings and work instructions in English
• Computer savvy accurately record work performed in ERP/MES systems
• Follow ESD, safety, and cleanroom protocols

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Electrical/Electronic/Semiconductor or relevant industry
• Good attention to detail, taking accountability for your workspace, and following 6S guidelines
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the business requirements

Education Required:

• Technical school or associate degree preferred but not required

Other Requirements:

• Work is sedentary in nature, but may require standing, walking, grasping, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $24 to $30 per hour. The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, skills, job-related knowledge, internal equity, and geographical location.
