Job summary

Gritt is building autonomous robotic systems that augment construction sites with AI-powered capabilities for manipulation and navigation in harsh outdoor environments. As a Robot Learning Engineer, you will shape AI features across real-world deployments, driving robust generalization and scalable pipelines.

You will work on RL, imitation learning, and world models, collaborating with teams to push the boundaries of robotics with AI.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in robotics, computer science, or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on AI work for robotics with manipulation/navigation.
• Strong background in computer vision and ML/RL techniques.
• Experience with VLAs, deep RL, imitation learning, diffusion, world models.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch, with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy physical AI models for robotics manipulation and navigation.
• Lead real-world deployments and robust generalization across environments.
• Research and implement RL, imitation learning, and world-model techniques.
• Build data pipelines and validation infrastructure for real/sim data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve product capabilities.
