Job summary

FANUC America Corporation seeks an Associate Field Service Engineer to provide on-site repair, troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance for FANUC robots and related equipment. The role requires extensive travel to customer sites, with long hours and after-hours support as needed.

The ideal candidate will have robotics service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset. A related Associate's degree or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in robotics integration, installation, or service repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic documentation.
• Willingness to travel extensively (80% or more) to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Discuss, diagnose, and repair robot operational and process problems as reported by the customer.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain FANUC robot mechanical units and controllers.
• Document performance, failure modes, and results for troubleshooting and repair.
• Provide daily reports to the Service Supervisor/Manager & Dispatch to update status.
• Complete customer calls to identify required parts and software for visits.
• Travel to customer sites as required (~80%).
