Fairmont Orchid on Hawai'i's Kohala Coast invites you to join Binchotan Bar & Grille as a part-time hostperson. Provide warm, personalized service in a luxury, fast-paced dining environment, manage reservations, seating, and guest welcome.

You will maintain the dining area, assist other outlets during peak times, follow HACCP standards and uphold the aloha spirit. English proficiency required; visa eligibility required to work in the United States. Hourly rate is $28.08 USD.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience in luxury or fine dining preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining standards.
• Good communication and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences with warm, personal service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression of the restaurant through cleanliness, setup and ambiance.
• Prepare for dining traffic by coordinating servers and seating assignments.
• Greet guests warmly, use guest names, and ensure timely service.
• Maintain menus and keep the host stand orderly.
• Manage reservations and VIP requests, using OpenTable.
• Assist other outlets during peaks and follow HACCP standards.
