Maintain a clean and safe workspace by operating machinery, counting, reading, scrubbing, soaping, rinsing, disinfecting, mopping, or buffing to meet sanitation requirements. Practice safe and delicate egg and chick handling, promoting proper Animal Welfare Guidelines. Occasionally lift approximately 30 lbs. and perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching for long periods (up to 10+ hours per shift). Work in a climate ranging from cold to hot temperatures with high humidity and a high concentration of allergens such as chick down and dust.
