Casa Libre - Costa Mesa is seeking a Roastery Production Assistant to join our team. You’ll help ensure accurate packaging, organize orders, and support daily production from roastery to café.

Responsibilities

• Packaging & Order Fulfillment: Accurately weigh, seal, label, and pack coffee bags for retail, wholesale, and café use.
• Packaging & Order Fulfillment: Prepare and organize orders for delivery and distribution.
• Packaging & Order Fulfillment: Double-check labels, batch information, and packaging quality before orders leave the roastery.
• Packaging & Order Fulfillment: Maintain packaging inventory and communicate when supplies need to be reordered.
• Production Support: Assist the roasting team with day-to-day production tasks.
• Production Support: Move roasted coffee safely to packaging and storage areas.
• Production Support: Organize green and roasted coffee storage areas to maintain efficiency and traceability.
• Production Support: Support production flow so the roastery stays on schedule.
• Inventory & Organization: Help count and track coffee, packaging materials, and production supplies.
• Inventory & Organization: Receive, organize, and store incoming deliveries.
• Inventory & Organization: Keep storage areas clean, labeled, and easy to navigate.
• Inventory & Organization: Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.

We are a respected, world-class Mexican grocery brand entering a new era of café culture, specialty coffee, fresh-roasted beans, and hospitality rooted in warmth, heritage, and pride. As we expand our roasting program and launch multiple new cafés over the next two years, we need someone who can step into the roastery on day one—hands on, fully present, and fully committed to supporting the systems and people that keep our coffee moving from roastery to café.

This role is the backbone of the roastery. You won't be roasting coffee, but you'll play a critical role in making sure every bag is packaged with care, every order is accurate, inventory is organized, and production runs smoothly. As we grow, you'll help build the systems and standards that support a world-class coffee program.
