Job summary

Casa Libre - Costa Mesa is seeking a Cashier / Stockist to deliver warm hospitality, manage front-counter operations, and keep the café stocked and organized from open to close. You will greet guests, answer questions, and process payments with care.

As part of a growing Mexican grocery and café brand, you’ll help create a welcoming space, support baristas, and contribute to both guest experience and retail readiness as Casa Libre expands to new cafés.

This role is the heartbeat of the front of house. You'll be one of the first people our guests meet and one of the last they see before they leave. While delivering warm, genuine hospitality, you'll also ensure our café stays fully stocked, organized, and ready to serve from open to close.

Stocking & Inventory

• Keep café stations fully stocked with cups, lids, milks, syrups, pastries, retail coffee, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels throughout the day and communicate replenishment needs.
• Receive, organize, and rotate deliveries using proper inventory procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas that support efficient operations.

Café Operations

• Help maintain cleanliness throughout the café, dining room, and guest areas.
• Support opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health standards at all times.
• Jump in wherever needed to keep the café running smoothly.

Team & Culture

• Support baristas, shift leads, and café leadership with a positive, team-first attitude.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with teammates throughout every shift.
• Participate in training, tastings, and ongoing hospitality education.
