Job summary

CapEd Credit Union seeks a Roaming Teller I to promote member financial well-being by engaging members in conversations, resolving inquiries, and enriching their experience. The role covers for absent tellers, working from the home branch and traveling to other branches as needed.

The position processes transactions, handles cash, maintains accounts, and educates Members on products and services. You must have 6–12 months related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Six months to twelve months of similar or related experience.
  • Education: A high school education or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Assists members, guest members and potential members with their account inquiries, performs cash and non-cash transactions and account maintenance while actively listening to and inquiring about members needs with the objective of providing the ultimate member experience and value-added solutions.
  • Resolves member inquires with a focus on our Brand Promise while utilizing and adhering to company policies. Researches and explores potential solutions to provide alternatives for members. Follows escalation processes to direct members to appropriate team member as needed.
  • Balances cash, checks and conducts daily transactions with minimal errors.
  • Maintains knowledge of all credit union products, services, and promotions.
  • Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Role

Role:TheRoaming Teller I promotes member financial well-being through engaging members in meaningful conversations to resolve financial inquires, enrich the members experience and deepen their relationship with the Credit Union. This position processes transactions, handles cash, provides account maintenance and/or troubleshooting, and educates members on Credit Union products and services. The purpose of the Roaming Teller is to cover for Tellers at other Branches that are absent from work. The Roaming Teller will work out of their home branch and travel to other branches as needed. The Roaming Teller will furnish their own transportation to the assigned location.


Pay

The pay for this position is$18.67 an hour.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes and/or seasonal brightness through windows. This position may involve periodic stressful conditions. The Credit Unions business days are Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; however, this position may occasionally require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and to include evening/weekend hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
