Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a ROAM Response Team Officer to provide incident-response support at sports, concerts, and special events. You may patrol on foot, bicycle, or motorized vehicle, depending on venue and deployment, and may prepare reports or assist with evictions as needed.

The role requires strong observation, de-escalation, and communication skills, with a focus on safety and service. Flexible part-time schedules make this position ideal for students or those seeking dynamic event

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active or retired law enforcement status or MOS related to law enforcement preferred.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and assess situations quickly.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform roaming security patrols of designated areas at events, on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized entry.
• Warn violators of client rules and remove prohibited items.
• Control access to restricted areas and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Respond to incidents as directed by client, managers, and law enforcement.
• Request law enforcement assistance as needed and assist as requested.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
• Provide productivity and safety recommendations to management.
