Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Roam Response Officer for event security across sports venues, concerts, and conventions. You will check bags, enforce access control, verify IDs, and maintain guest safety while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company owned vehicle.
• Ability to use independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry/exit: verify tickets, direct traffic, and manage access control.
• Screen guests at entry via bag searches, hand wand or metal detector, and ID checks.
• Protect guests, staff and venue ownership by monitoring for security breaches.
• Escort unruly guests when required and assist with crowd control as needed.
• Follow venue policies and regulations across various events and facilities.
• Provide directions and helpful information to guests to enhance their experience.
