WSP USA is seeking a Roadway/Water Inspector for our San Bernardino, California office. You will support the Resident Engineer on complex construction projects, applying advanced inspection principles to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and permits.

The role requires 5+ years of inspection experience, state water certifications, and a valid driver's license. You will read plans, document progress, and provide technical reports to support project success.

Qualifications

High School Diploma is required.
Minimum 5 years post-education construction inspection experience.
T1 (Treatment) and D1 (Distribution) water main certifications.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Knowledge of construction inspection principles, codes, and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Collect, compile, and analyze site data, plans, blueprints, and reports.
Perform inspections on projects for conformance with plans, specs, and permits.
Provide technical guidance on inspection, construction, and functioning of infrastructure.
May lead inspection tasks and staff on projects of moderate/large scope.
Write technical reports with findings and recommendations.
