Jefferson County, Colorado is seeking a Road & Bridge Traffic Specialist to maintain traffic control devices and assist with sign design and installation. You will manage crew schedules, ensure site safety, and coordinate with utilities to keep projects on track.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Expect a 4‑day April–November schedule and on-site work at Golden, with snow operations and varied shifts in December–March.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience minimum.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B or A CDL with Air Brake restriction removed and DOT medical card required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain traffic control devices and mark roads for County use.
• Assist in planning and fabrication of signs and in special projects.
• Coordinate with utilities and other departments for sign installation and safety.
