You’ll guide multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and build trusted client partnerships across state and local agencies. The role emphasizes technical excellence, mentorship of engineers, business development support, and collaboration to provide innovative transportation solutions nationwide.

Qualifications

• BSCE from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license in the state or able to reciprocity.
• 8+ years roadway design experience.
• Experience leading roadway design tasks.
• Experience with proposals and client engagement.
• Familiarity with ODOT and local agencies.
• Civil 3D/OpenRoads proficiency a plus.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver transportation projects for public agencies in Ohio.
• Oversee design execution, monitoring scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across internal disciplines and subconsultants.
• Champion technical excellence and ensure agency standards.
• Drive project success and proactively manage scope, schedule, and risk.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and pursue future work.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, public events, and professional organizations.
• Mentor and develop emerging engineers.
• Support business development through proposals and scoping.
• Collaborate across the firm to bring innovative transportation solutions nationwide.
