Responsibilities include purchase management, material coordination, and inventory support, with SAP oversight for parts and procurement.

Qualifications

One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 or equivalent experience in planning and scheduling work, materials and equipment.
An Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or equivalent training.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

Purchase management for equipment, fuel, services, utilities, and building/grounds maintenance.
Coordinate materials, monitor bids, and ensure availability for maintenance projects.
Conduct inventory counts at stockpiles and maintain winter service material databases.
Gather and analyze information for maintenance efficiency measures, charts and reports.
Manage materials components in SAP and direct purchasing, storage, and issuing of parts.
Prepare items for surplus or transfer and recommend actions for unusable materials.
